ZFighteR LQ Newbie Registered: Dec 2002 Location: Rhode Island Distribution: Redhat 9 (Psyche) Posts: 26 Rep:	Need HELP with Mandrake Install I need some help with installing mandrake, I have a Highpoint Raid controller built into my mobo it is HPT 372. But for some reason mandrake when installing it does not find the drivers right for it and it says it can't format the drive. Now I have gotten the driver in a .tar file from the website. I was just wondering if anyone knew a way to install it before the installation so it would reconize my raid controller the right way so I can install it on my machine. Please be datailed cuz im pritty much a newbie at all this. Thanx Oh yea, I have 2 HD and they are both connected to my raid controller but they are not in a raid array. And I have 2 Cdroms connected to the other IDE ports on the mobo. Last edited by ZFighteR; 02-10-2003 at 01:22 AM.
