Hey out there...

So I d/l'd the Apollon rpm, but it when I try to install it with the automated rpm installer on my SuSE 9.1, it says I need over half a dozen other "lib" files and whatnot. Am I missing something? Do I really have to hunt all those down one by one? Any help would be much appreciated...

yes, it's telling you that the files it requires are in fact missing
and for normal operation (and installation) of this program
you do need these files .. and there is no way around it ...
unless you force the installation which in turn the program will
undoubtly fail to run cause of the files it already told you it
needed ...
so i guess the easiest way to avoid the manual hunt down for
all these packages that contain the files that are required by
certain programs to run, you may as well look into a program
such as apt-get, and suse has a tool called Yast, which if i am
not mistaking is also built for simplicity sake ...
