Need a scheduling App??

I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum or even board to be asking this on, but its the only place i could think of to ask so here it goes.

I'm looking for a scheduling tool that will allow for the scheduling of several sales people's schedules on a day to day basis in 2 hour chunks of time. Here is the sittuation. People in the office call and setup sales meeting durring the week. The task is such that they do not need to go to a specific sales person and schedule an appointment for that sales person but rather for anyone with a free timeslot open durring that timeframe.

I am sure that there is a type of software that generally does this but i cant find anything without it getting too complex (dont really need a crm solution as of yet, though please suggest them if i'm just missing the boat on this functionality that crm's may provide)..

Thanks for any suggestions that anyone can give to me (*nix & Win solutions all welcome, but prefferably something several people can access at one time ).

L.

Would a simple calendar program like Mozilla Sunbird do the trick? If you can set up an Apache server with Webdav enabled, you could access the calendar from remote locations.

If you are using KDE, have a look at Korganizer (especially, browse the handbook in the Help menu).
