Yes. I think it is strongly related to vpn. I don't know why the process
is started automatically. I just left the linux box for a while and the
process starts to run and it is causing the poor machine to turn on the
fan and make a lot of noise.
I top, get the id , and kill it. But then after that my firefox cannot
connect to the internet. So I have to reboot the system and it is okay after that.
I would say this happens very rarely. I don't know if it is worthwhile to find the exact cause. May be I will contact the guy in my company to find out his opinion.
