Hi.
I have an English assignment-- I'm supposed to write an essay with 12-point as the font size, double spaced.
Now, being as vague as he is, the teacher said nothing else; this means I can use any font I want.
I've been using Luxi Serif in AbiWord and adjusted the margins to give me AS MUCH space as possible, but my text still goes over to the very beginning of the next page...
I'm looking for a font that is as narrow as possible and would be as small as possible and compatible with AbiWord so I can fit my essay onto one page.
Would anybody know of a good one?

Just make it go over a page. Teachers aren't stupid, you know. I was one for about five years. We can tell roughly how many words a paper is. Making the paper have an extremely narrow font will just make it harder to read. Hard-to-read papers put teachers in bad moods. Bad moods make the small subjective part of grading lean toward the lower end of the grading scale.
