Nagios plugin check_snmp not returning correct information

I compiled the check_snmp plugin for Nagios, and I am trying to check for system uptime. The plugin is not returning the full system uptime string. See here:

# ./check_snmp -H server -C public -o .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.1.0
SNMP OK - 11:55.13
# snmpget -c public -v 1 server .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.1.0
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrSystemUptime.0 = Timeticks: (55153772) 6 days, 9:12:17.7

check_snmp only returns the HH:MM info. Any idea why or how to fix it?

Nagios

Can't access my Nagios server right now but are you sure the check_snmp plugin is using snmp v 1? Just a thought...
Have you tried the Nagios forum? It's a pretty good one.

I am using v1. I have worked around the issue, but I am still curious about it. Maybe I will try the Nagios forum. Thanks
