Question MythTV, No sound when watching TV

Hi

Hope anybody have a good ide.

I've installed the mythtv rpms and the mysql rpms. Initiatet the database but have no sound when watching tv in mythtv. The picture is OK. The TVcard is connected to the soundcard with a cabel.

The sound is working all other places including "TVtime Television Viewer".

My system is Mandriva 2007.0

MythTv is version 0.20.20060828-3 and installed with RPMs from Mandriva:
[root@localhost ape]# rpm -qa | grep mythtv
mythtv-frontend-0.20-1plf2007.0
mythtv-themes-0.20-1plf2007.0
mythtv-backend-0.20-1plf2007.0
mythtv-setup-0.20-1plf2007.0
mythtv-0.20-1plf2007.0

Nothing is bloking the sound device:
#fuser /dev/dsp nothing comes up

Form the log file:

[ape@localhost mythtv]$ tail -f mythbackend.log

2007-01-08 21:20:44.831 Please go into the TV Settings, Recording Profiles and
2007-01-08 21:20:44.832 setup the four 'Software Encoders' profiles.
2007-01-08 21:20:44.856 Assuming RTjpeg for now.
2007-01-08 21:20:44.857 NVR: Error, unknown audio codec
2007-01-08 21:23:36.917 TVRec(1): Changing from WatchingLiveTV to None
2007-01-08 21:23:37.415 Finished recording Ukendt: channel 2061

Without any luck, I've traid to change the encoders profile from RTjpeg to MPEG-4.
I've traid to change the softwafe encoders (v41 based) codec from from MP3 to uncompressed.

When I look at the Mandriva hardware configuration I see:
Driver Module: ‎snd-emu10k1

When I look at the Gnome Audio Configuration sound capture I see:

Audio confererencing sound playback is: ALSA - Advanced Linus Sound Architecure.
Audio confererencing sound capture is: ALSA - Advanced Linus Sound Architecure.

The Audio Output device in mythtv is ALSA:ice958:{ AES0 0x02 }.

I've used google, only to be more confused. Where should I look to getting one step futher ?
(Please don't arsk my to install the myth source and compile/link :-) )

Is there any test I can do ?

Here are some information:
[ape@localhost ~]$ more /home/ape/.mythtv/mysql.txt
DBHostName=localhost
DBUserName=mythtv
DBPassword=mythtv
DBName=mythconverg
DBType=QMYSQL3

# Set the following if you want to use something other than the
# machine's real hostname for identifying settings in the database.
# This is useful if your hostname changes often, as otherwise
# you'll need to reconfigure mythtv (or futz with the DB) every time.
# TWO HOSTS MUST NOT USE THE SAME VALUE
#
#LocalHostName=my-unique-identifier-goes-here

# If you want your frontend to be able to wake your MySQL server
# using WakeOnLan, have a look at the following settings:
#
# Set the time the frontend waits (in seconds) between reconnect tries.
# This should be the rough time your MySQL server needs for startup
#WOLsqlReconnectWaitTime=0
#
#
# This is the amount of retries to wake the MySQL server until the frontend
# gives up
#WOLsqlConnectRetry=5
#
#
# This is the command executed to wake your MySQL server.
#WOLsqlCommand=echo 'WOLsqlServerCommand not set'

[ape@localhost ~]$ more /etc/modules
# /etc/modules: kernel modules to load at boot time.
#
# This file should contain the names of kernel modules that are
# to be loaded at boot time, one per line. Comments begin with
# a `#', and everything on the line after them are ignored.
