Mysqlcc connection denied

I have a new installation of MySql on a linux box. I am trying to connect to it from another machine using MySqlCC (Mysql administrator).

Give it the host (192.168.1.51) Port: (3306)
Username: (root)
Password: (xxxxxx)

when i click ok, mysqlcc responds with:

MySQL Error NUmber 1130
Host '192.168.1.50' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server.

What do I need to to allow my machine (1.50) to connect to the mysql server (1.51)

Thanks in advance!

Nevermind... I figured it out.
