Thanks in advanced for your time. I posted this at the mySQL forum and phpfreaks and I seem to not get a good reply to my question. I installed mySQL on Fedora core 3 after fixing it and going threw that mess I got it to run. Now my PHP code doesn't want to work I get a socket error. Googled that and worked threw the walkthrough's on that and no luck I can't execute any mySQl commands on the local server. I get an accessed deny error heres the info
