i thought that i have a problem in my vedio card so i run
Unfortunately, Wine does not work well on Slackware 11 due to it's unusual kernel configuration: a 2.4 kernel and a 2.6 kernel available, with glibc compiled against both. This tends to confuse Wine a bit and make it difficult to get installed/started.
At the very least you must install and run the 2.6 kernel from the /testing directory of the Slackware CDs. But honestly, you are much better off installing Slackware 12 at this point; as it has made huge improvements over Slackware 11, among them the abandonment of the 2.4 kernel series and the problems it was causing.
i have a problem with slack 12
coz it use kernel 2.6
and i have a realtech ,it's driver supports kernel 2.4 and 2.5 only
so if i use slack 12 i will not be able to log on the net
any other solutions??
