mutt and msmtp not emailing


Hi
i have mutt and msmtp installed but it doesnt email me my alerts
but i can email from the command line with no problem does anyone know y this is happening and how i can fix this

If u r trying to run the mutt and msmtp through any script, then give the full path of mutt like /usr/bin/mutt and for msmtp.

Mutt with msmtp ist usally for _outgoing_ mail.

If you want mail _incoming_, you'll need something different - either something to fetch mail from IMAP/POP or and smtpd listening to accept incoming mail directly and deliver it into your mailbox - really depends on your setup.
