MS Visual Studio .NET in Linux?

Hi all, at work I use Visual Studio .NET 2003 and SQL Server enterprise manager so obviously I work in windows. I was just wondering what does linux offer in the way of environments where I can develope .NET web solutions. Someone told me that microsoft have or were going to release visual studio 2005 on linux, is this true?
