mplayer1.0pre3 have problem playing http files

i just compiled mplayer1.0pre3,

and i installed all the codecs i could find.

it now can play mp3/mpeg4/avi/rm/rmvb/wma/asf etc files.

but it seems it have problem playing http/ files,

when i want to listen CNN news with mplayer,

it goes like this:

the problem is i can listen to CNN news with my firefox ( installed mplayerplugin 1.2),

and also i can listen to online mp3 music:
