Q: It doesn't compile, and it misses uint64_t inttypes.h and similar things ...
A: Copy etc/inttypes.h to the MPlayer directory (cp etc/inttypes.h .) and try again ...

why are you using pre8 and not the latest version?

you have sooooooooo many errors there. did you compile your own kernel? or maybe you're running this on an electric teapot?

where IS your original inttypes.h file? it would originally come from glibc's development packages. you jus seem to have somethign seriously wrong with your system if gcc can't even optimize for a 386....

and also can i suggest actually ASKING a question in future rather than simply giving a bunch of error messages and nothing else whatsoever. the personal touch...
