MP3 Truncation


How would I remove the last 37 seconds of a mp3 file? It has the start of another song which I happen to not like :-(

I would just open it up in Audacity and crop it. Quick and painless. I'm pretty sure it's package is just named "audacity" on most any distro.

I would use Sox to do this. It's a nifty little command line utlity, but very powerful. Look at the trim option.
