Hi There,
This is my first post, and it will be about a bizarre thing!
I did some research on these forums as well as a general googleling around, but was
unable to find something relevant to that strange issue I have with Mozilla.
Allright, I am running under Mandrake 10 (with KDE) and I am really happy with it. Mozilla works fine except one little irritating thing: when Mozilla is in the process of downloading a webpage, the vertical scroll bar on the right of the windows becomes inactive. Or more exactly half inactive!!
Let me explain: if a page is downloading, when I put the cursor of my mouse on the elevator of the scroll bar, it does not scroll, but act as if the cursor was still on the page itself: I am selecting an area of the web page! However, If I move my cursor on the right limit (the last third) of the scroll bar, then I can scroll the page!!
This problem does not occur at all when the page is downloaded, and the scroll bar behavior is then completely normal!!
I know this can appear as an insignificant problem, but it is very frustrating to have to wait that the ads are completely downloaded before being able to scroll the page in order to read your article, or in order to click on a link at the very bottom of a very long web page. It makes browsing uneasy.
I can always do the trick of selecting the extreme right limit of the scroll bar but I will have to develop finer motor skills than those I have right now
Does anyone have encountered the same issue?
Does anyone have a solution or an explanation?
Thank you for your help,
Linils.
