I don't know why my mozilla history never works. I wished that it's problems fix in newer versions.
You know for example in IE you can check some visited sites offline but in mozilla it says "You can not see this while offline" or something so.
That's file syncing, not offline browsing You can mirror any site you'd like. wget works great for that:
wget -mc http://site.com
Will mirror the entire site onto your HD for you to surf locally. You can also save webpages from within your browser (check the file menu).
There are other options as well, these are just a few to appease your hate for mozilla
