Question Mozilla 1.7 plugins

I just installed Mozilla. There is no anuy plugin installed (Help --> About plugins).
I have a link

/usr/local/mozilla/plugins/ --> /usr/local/mozilla/plugins/java2/plugin/i386/ns600/libjavaplugin_oji.so

but java is not working. I have downloaded RealPlayer, but plugin was not installed neither.

Moved: This thread is more suitable in Linux Software and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves.

Welcome to LQ.

Did you restart mozilla?

What version of java did you install?

You should also install java in its own directory not Mozillas.

Then your link is wrong. Above you said the link was:
/usr/local/mozilla/plugins/ --> /usr/local/mozilla/plugins/java2/plugin/i386/ns600/libjavaplugin_oji.so

I just changed the link to java's own directory and it works now! Thanks
