Movie maker

Hi,
I was wondering if there are any programs in linux which allow me to make movies in a similiar fassion to moviemaker in XP ? ive tried Lives, videmux but these only edit one video clip at a time. is there something in which i can place video clips one after the other in order to make a movie ?

Thanx

Hmm. I have an idea for you, if you haven't found a way yet, but it is unorthodox.

First of all, just do each movie file one at a time how you want it, in some editor.

Then, download the Ren'py visual novel engine and learn about dealing with videos. You can have them play in order that way, and make it so they're displayed in an automated fashion:
http://www.renpy.org/

Ren'py isn't video-editing software, but if all you need is to display media sequentially (with or without effects) or in some programatic fashion, then Ren'py will do the trick (although there are other things you can do, too, but most of them don't relate directly to movies).
