Post Minicom carriage return + hyperterminal

When I press enter through hyperterminal it sends \r\n
but in minicom it is just sending \n is there any method using which we can make minicom behave exactly same as hyperterminal?

should i try with some terminal settings or anyother stuffs?

carriage return on cutecom and command line

Did you solve your problem? I have a similar question with a device I'm working with.
I connect with the device and get a prompt where I'm supposed to type commands and hit ENTER. But when I do this, the cursor just goes to the next line and the command is not executed.
I assume this is a problem with recognition of the "end of line" or "carriage return"... so I tried the usual shell non printing characters: COMMAND\n\r and I added the onlcr option to the stty command but it still don't works :-(
By the way I'm using bash.
If I connect with the device using cutecom, there is no problem at all, I just select the option "CR line end" and every thing works fine.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks,
