Merge, split, and rotate PDF
Hi everyone, I've been looking for programs that can do all of this. One of the ones I liked the most is PDF Sam Basic, which is directly in the official apt repositories. Has anyone tried it or do you have any alternatives? Thank you.

I use the poppler utilities: pdfunite, pdfseparate to merge and split, magick to rotate.

Thank you for your recommendation, I didn't know about this suite of tools. It's in finished format, it can be very useful but I'd also like to have some alternatives with graphical interface. Thank you. |

PDF Arranger can do all of the PDF munging you mention, as well as import/export per page or group of pages, with a nice graphical interface. It is packaged for many Linux distros already (see the chart on the github page).

Merge, split, and rotate PDF
Split PDF = print it by page
Merge PDF = Ghostscript, pdfunite, pdftk
Rotate PDF = pdftk
that should be it  |

Pdftk will insert, extract, and rotate. The parameter burst will split the pdf into separate pages keeping the same format, unlike printing.
To renumber the pages, use "jpdf tweak". Then "pdf arranger" will divide up two-page spreads in a book also remove black borders.

yes indeed, pdftk will do everything, insert, merge, split, and rotate |
