maverick meerkat firestarter and samba

Well over the weekend I took the plunge and upgraded. All was fine with Lucid.

Well the upgrade was surprisingly straight forward. But, yep there is always a but.

I though it had screwed up my samba totally, but no it hasn't. It is working just fine. I use firestarter to tweak my firewall, turn it off and all is fine.

I have told firestarter to open my local network, with a 10.0.0.1/24
(I can never recall is that right?) but it still ain't working.

HAve router doing firewall duties too, so not that bothered, but would like to know how to fix it. Before I upgrad my webserver box too.

Any ideas folks?

found it

Well I found the answer! It seems that my 10.0.0.1/24 seems to be at fault. Put them in manually and it works! See screenshot.

Any ideas on how to write it properly would be welcome.
