Matlab 2015b garbled on Slackware 14.2

On Slackware 14.2 with newer version of MATLAB 2015b, the interface (text, icons, windows and so on) looks completly garbled especially when the mouse cursor fly over on them or at click action. Is there a fix of this annoying problem?

Give us a little more information if you need answers
Windows or linux version? Running under windows. VM, wine, linux, or what?
What graphics/drivers? What mouse & driver?

seeing as mathworks is ONLY supporting Ubuntu 16.04

if you really MUST use the very expensive mathworks
run it on windows10

MATLAB 2015b is directly installed on Slackware 14.2, no VM. Hardware is Thinkpad e550.

I guess is Java problem from arch wiki is indicated a fix but looks unsuccessful on Slackware: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Matlab
