Angry Mandrake and Internet

I have a Compaq Presario 7470 running Mandrake Linux 9.1. Whenever I go to access the internet, it says unavailable. I have a 3COM 3C-905C-TX NIC in it. It has been reconfigured over and over again without result. When it boots up though, It say bringing up connection eth0 - [ OK ]. Please HELP!!!

Your zero config seems to not be working completely. You will need to enter your gateway IP- typically the router ip, into your network settings expert control panel thingy. You aren't routing out, but you have tone. Typically it's the gateway.
