I have a virtual mail server with 20 domains having the following configuration.

Redhat 9.0, Postfix, Maildrop, Courier IMAP, squirrelmail

I would like to enable the mail forwarding feature as feature for some users only.

I.e. All incoming mails to them will be forwarded to the email address defined by them using the squirrelmail interface. (We will create a plug in here).

The intended mechanism is:

For some users, who have the access enabled for mail forwarding, they will see an option to forward their mails.

If they fill this field, then postfix will be configured so that all incoming emails for that user/email will be forwardded to the defined mail for forwarding mail to.

The To Address should remain as the original To address...and the From address should be the original FROM address..

This is similar to Yahoo mail forwarding. Anyone done this before?

I also have got this mail forwarding service, but I do not know if it will work properly on Linux or not. Any thought, please?
