the day before yesterday i had a handful of updates in kubuntu which seemed to break deluge. no matter what i tried i could not get deluge to work properly, so i completely removed it and reinstalled qbittorrent which i've used before. the issue is i go to a page and click a magnet link and i get the indicator that it's being processed but when i open qbt the item has not been added. as far as i know i've gotten rid of every trace of deluge so i doubt leftovers of it are causing the issue. any suggestions on fixing this would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

fixed. went back into file association and since it was not showing me x-bittorrent i decided to create a simple torrent entry. this forced x-bittorrent to finally show. was then able to switch .torrent to open with qbt and add a .magnet entry. works perfectly now.
