MacOS-like menu app - - what's the name?


a friend of mine has it, it's a little app that displays a menu linke in macOS with the icons enlarging when you hover the mouse over them...what's it called?
anybody?

there are two I think..one for Gnome and one for KDE..hmm let me think. I think it was called gDesklets - the thingie that lets you install such applets, "desklets", as that menu-thing. run for it, google for it, go for it!

EDIT: oh, and the one for KDE: I'd start searching @ kdeapps.org (or whatever it was..well, you'll find it from kde.org anyway but that gDesklets is for Gnome desktop)

You are looking for kxdocker. It makes the nice "Mac OS X" style bar at the top. There are other things that needed to get your Linux distro looking like OS X.

I know Fox Desktop itself is setup to look like OS X, but imitation does not give the functionality like the true OS X bar does.
