looking for some type of software


... i notice that very often in screen shots of linux desktops that there are windows applications, i am curious about how that they are able to use them.

also is there away to get Final Fantasy and or the Play On LIne Viewer to run in linux

You can run some (not all) windows applications with some windows emulator, like wine. There some free.
I don't use this programs yet, but i'v read that the latest versions of some soft for windows doesn't work fine. I don't know about those games.

hmm... i myself have been some what impish with this type of stuff, but why dont they have a unix install for itunes.

i cant seem to get wine to open any programs though...

thank you, i finally got one to work... it is rather warming to get kazazza running in linux, and have open everytime...
