Loki_setup compile fails

I am trying to compile loki_setup. I have loki_setupdb compiled already. When i do make, i get the following:

gcc -o setup log.o install_log.o main.o detect.o plugins.o network.o install.o copy.o file.o loki_launchurl.o console_ui.o /home/artem/download/setup-1.5.8/../setupdb-1.0.0/x86/libsetupdb.a plugins/libplugins.a /home/artem/download/setup-1.5.8/../setupdb-1.0.0/x86/libsetupdb.a -L/usr/local/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib /usr/lib/libxml.a -lintl -lz -static
install.o(.text+0x22cc): In function `generate_uninstall':
/home/artem/download/setup-1.5.8/install.c:1243: the use of `tmpnam' is dangerous, better use `mkstemp'
install.o(.text+0x13b7): In function `expand_home':
/home/artem/download/setup-1.5.8/install.c:735: Using 'getpwnam' in statically linked applications requires at runtime the shared libraries from the glibc version used for linking
network.o(.text+0x135): In function `connect_url':
/home/artem/download/setup-1.5.8/network.c:87: Using 'gethostbyname' in statically linked applications requires at runtime the shared libraries from the glibc version used for linking
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-mandrake-linux-gnu/3.3.1/../../../libc.a(dcigettext.o)(.text+0x6d0): In function `_nl_find_msg':
: multiple definition of `_nl_find_msg'
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-mandrake-linux-gnu/3.3.1/../../../libintl.a(dcigettext.o)(.text+0x740): first defined here
/usr/bin/ld: Warning: size of symbol `_nl_find_msg' changed from 1496 in /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-mandrake-linux-gnu/3.3.1/../../../libintl.a(dcigettext.o) to 1295 in /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-mandrake-linux-gnu/3.3.1/../../../libintl.a(dcigettext.o)
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [setup] Error 1

What am I doing wrong?
