Unhappy lock screen not working need help


guys help me out i am unable to lock my screen if i need to go out i had to logout which leads to close all my browsers and applications close.

if click on lock screen it just doesnt lock the screen ???

ok. What happens if you run command "xlock"?

if i run on terminal it says command not found and if i run on gui run program it says failed to execute " xlock"

So it sounds you have to install the program in question. In debian, package containing xlock is called xlockmore. Things might vary on your distribution.

That package is probably already available in the media you have used to install your system.
What distribution are you using?

(btw. If you navigate to "User cp"->"Edit Profile"->Distribution, there is a place where you can fill that information so that you don't have to explicitly say it everytime on every thread).

toni is it possible to run setup files from a linux ftp server if so what should u do?
