Hi there, here's my issue:

AMD K-62/400
cheapo MB (ALI chipset)
3com3c905b NIC
cheapo vid-card(I dont use X)
no soundcard
6gb hard drive partitioned as / , /var, /home, and swap
4gb Hard Drive partitioned as /usr/local
RH 7.0

The install went off without a hitch, all hardware detected fine and everything, then when I boot up after the install
it gets no further than;

Loading Linux..........


and thats it. Ive installed Linux (especially RedHat) numerous times with numerous problems but this is a new one, any suggestions????????????

You could possibly try running in a different run level. See if that does it, if not, try booting with a floppy to see if it works that way.
