Liquid weather Python problem

Hi,

I just installed Mandriva 2006 (for 64bit processor) and installed Superkaramba and dowloaded the latest version of Liquid weather. However it didn't work properly so I ran superkaramba from konsole and got this message:

[baran@d247a ~]$ superkaramba
Could not find platform independent libraries <prefix>
Could not find platform dependent libraries <exec_prefix>
Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]
'import site' failed; use -v for traceback
QMultiInputContext::changeInputMethod(): index=0, slave=xim

After this I started Liquid Weather from the user interface and got the following:

sys.path.insert(0, '/home/baran/Program Files/lwp-8.8.skz')
zipimport.ZipImportError: can't decompress data; zlib not available
------------------------------------------------------
What does ImportError mean?

It means that I couldn't load a python add-on liquid_weather.py
If this is a regular theme and doesn't use python
extensions, then nothing is wrong.
------------------------------------------------------

I have python2.4 installed already and I have installed everything using "urpm" I really can't understand what is wrong with this. The problem is not only with Liquid Weather non of the themes can be configured because, configure option is always dimmed.

I would be glad if someone can help me with this.

look for python-qt and try to load. I am not sure what SK needs, all I know is with SuSE I had to install kdebindings3-python because it needed python-qt / PyQt and PyKDE. Also is python in the default location have you changed the prefix as it requests here:

Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]

My mistake! I bought this computer new and I automatically chose i586 architecture for urpmi media and installed everything for i586 also

Now I updated my urpmi media and installed superkaramba for my architecture, everything works fine.

Thanks alot!
