"I need some software for linux that will allow a user to create a user name and password and then allow them to enter for a length of service.. Like one month 2 months ectra and then enter there credit card and will auto bill there credit card why gaining access to the website. and then if possible at the end of there term send them a reminder 10 days or so before and can terminate or send a notice to me to teminate when there service should be done. I currently have a couple redhat boxes running apache and one that runs tux so I will switch among versions if I have to. Thanks for any help.. Even if I have to program sections of it I will just if someone can point me to resources for most of it.."
You might take a look at Zeiberbude:
http://zeiberbude.sourceforge.net/
http://fr.rpmfind.net/linux/sourceforge/zeiberbude/
If you check Zeiberbude out let me know what you think of it. I have toyed with the idea of creating a system that will allow a public library to run Linux on their free public Internet access machines. I would be interested in doing something like you are doing except that the accounts would be based on library card numbers and while the useage is free it is time limited.
