Hi all,

My distro is Fedora Core 1 with kernel 2.4.22-1.2115.nptl
while making bzImage during its final stage it gives the following error

kernel.o(0xfc3) .. I function schedule() undefined reference to active_load_balance
Error 2
aborting ...

and it gets out .. whats wrong ... while makeing xconfig ..i`ve loaded the previous config file from /boot and added support to ntfs file partition . thatz the only change that i have made when comparing with the old file ... is that wrong ...? y it happens like that

(not really an answer, but a question
when i try "make menuconfig", "make xconfig" etc (redhat9 - not quite upgraded to fedora 2, kernel 2.4.20-30.9, trying to compile kernel 2.6.8), I always get a message:
"Missing }."
I haven't found this issue anywhere on the net, I also had problems searching it. Google would always give me anything with "missing" but not with "Missing }." maybe this is due to the "}" which gets recognised as some regular expression or so ?????
