Linux invalid system disk

Hey,

(I'm from belgium and 16years old, i'm sorry for my bad english)

I downloaded Slackware 9.0 in 1iso file, and burned it correctly on a CD/RW. I shut down my pc, and go to the BIOS and set CD-ROM as first bootdevice.

YES, it worked! Slackware 9.0 install begon. But I aborted because linux musn't install on that pc, it was just for testing the CD. So, the CD is alright!

I went to my other pc, Hard Disk--> IBM ATA 100 11GB formatted.
I booted, but he said: searching for boot record from CD-Rom (or something like that ) .......... Failure. Invalid system disk. Replace the disk, and then press any key.

Then I released he can't read CD-RW's

So i put in a SAMSUNG 48x24x48x, and then: searching for boot record from CD-ROM...............
Invalid system disk. Replace the disk, and then press any key.

So no Failure anymore. But the CD is correct!!!

And the time's after that, he show me this:

Boot from ATAPI CD-ROM:
1.FD ù(2 sings) System Type-(00)

Can somebody explain please? I want linux!!!!

Seems to me like your BIOS is having problems booting from CD. you will have to make some floppies for the install. Look on the CD at the bootdisks and rootdisks folders and read their README's to find out which ones you will need.
