Linux file dates

Hi,
I wonder if anyone out there can tell me how to find the most recent files on a mount point ie /opt. The damn device has filled up overnight and I need to find the newest files and determine why they are there

Regards,
Ian

Thanks all, that seemed to do the trick!

'find /opt -mtime -1' will allow you to find files that where saved within the last day.

You might also find the following useful:

Code:
sudo su -
cd /opt
du -xk | sort -n
