Linux Elementary black screen when booting from usb
I was trying to install Linux Elementary and got it to show up as bootable when starting up the computer but when i select the option to try it without installing it goes to a black screen. Here is a video of what happens.
When you get to the screen with the "Try Elementary" screen, hit the 'e' key on your keyboard. The screen menu should change. Use the down arrow key on the keyboard to go down to the line beginning with the word 'linux', then the right arrow key to go over to where you see 'quiet --splash and insert 'nomodeset' (without quotes) there, save and let it boot. Post what happens.

Reason: quoting
Try putting it before the word quiet. You might also post some info on which graphics card you have if this fails.
Alright well it boots up! Buuuut, my keyboard doesn't work. But I may know what the error is because I filmed the startup in slow-mo. This is what is shown right before I see the Elementary logo on startup https://i.imgur.com/VRSwqSr.png .
Also I can't change my monitors resolution to anything else but what I recall was 1024x768 4x3.
