Linux clone to bigger HD

Can anyone suggest a good programme - linux or windows that can clone a Fedora Core 2 installation to a bigger hard drive. Would I have to manually alter the parition sizes once copied ?

Would it just be simplier to reinstall linux onto the new drive ?

I know Norton ghost but it's for windows and not free.

as a wild guess, couldnt you just copy all the files across? why would that work? alternatively, you might me able to use something like dd?

I believe Norton Ghost will read linux partitions for copying partition by partition, if not I know it has a drive clone that does an exact mirror but you might not be using the full capacity of your new drive, just the size of your old drive on the new drive. I just asked a similar question so I'll reply more when mine is answered. Oh yeah, BACKUP EVERYTHING!!!!
