linking library


hii folks,
I have problems finding the library path and adding to it a new one .
does anybody have an idea??
i need to let my C compiler find the libraries i need to deal with they are in a folder .
I need to change the path: LD_LIBRARY_PATH .

thx .......

if you want to change LD_LIBRARY_PATH, simply do
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH = <whatever you want>

it can also be a good idea to add the old LD_LIBRARY_PATH value.
Something like :
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH = "your_dir: $LD_LIBRARY_PATH"
