LimeWre 4.12 and SuSe 10.1

Anyone had issues with LimeWire hanging on startup? I installed it with no problems but all I get is the splash screen for it and it just seems to hang there. I have to reboot to get rid of it. I have used LimeWire in the past and I like it so it would be really nice to be able to continue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It works fine for me. It could be a problem with the java you are using. I am using Sun JDK 1.5.

Still hanging. I decided to try it from the shell and see what happens, so heres the output I got and its still hanging. It does the same thing under root as well.

Starting LimeWire...
Java exec found in PATH. Verifying...
Suitable java version found [java = 1.4.2_11]
Configuring environment...
Loading LimeWire:

Like I said, try java 1.5. You are running 1.4? Is it Sun java or some other java jre or sdk? I had similar problems once and it turned out to be a problem with the java I was using.

I am having the same problem too!!! Here is my output when I run the binary from the shell:

Code:
[root@bryan ~]# limewire
Starting LimeWire...
Java exec found in PATH. Verifying...
Suitable java version found [java = 1.5.0_06]
Configuring environment...
Loading LimeWire:
And then after I kill it with control-c:

Code:
Something went wrong with LimeWire.
Maybe you're using the wrong version of Java?
(LimeWire is tested against and works best with with Sun's JRE, Java 1.4+)
The version of Java in your PATH is:
java version "1.5.0_06"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_06-b05)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_06-b05, mixed mode, sharing)
I am using Mandriva 2006 and I have everything installed in the default directories: limewire in /usr/lib/limewire and java in /usr/java/jre...

Oh, and to kill the splash screen without restarting, do a "ps x" in the terminal and kill the limewire and java process by "kill -9 <processID>"
