I'm using Limewire 4.8.1 on Mdk. 10.1comm. with KDE 3.2.

I have Limewire set to minimise to the KDE tray when I close it's window. When I close the window, I get the icon (a blank square, which I beleive is a known bug), and a blank space about the same width as the icon to the left of it. This blank space stays there even when I totally close Limewire, and gets bigger each time I run Limewire.

After experimenting a bit, it looks like this only happens when aMSN is running (with traydoc compiled). Is there anything I can do about this, or is it being worked on?

Have you tried killall java from the console?

What he means is that he doesn't think it was closed all the way. You probably want to terminate those instances of the program, hence his suggestion to kill the apps.

I'm new to linux, but this appears to happen when non-native(?) KDE apps are shown in the tray. there must be an icon that isn't ported correctly.

I have problems with limewire being unwilling to shutdown to, but I use enlightenment, so I just annihilate the window, and that takes care of that.
