I want to install newer version of licq...
i have download qt source in tar.bz2 archive... i have unarchived it, and then untared it in /usr/local then it is usefull to add some lines in bash_profile and bash_login i have add lines in bash_profile but i have no bash_login in my home directory... and when i enter in /usr/local/qt and type ./configure made this:

[root@DPS qt]# ./configure

seems you don't have a C compiler, or something like that. Look at your package manager to add one.
