Hi All,

Working with mdk10.1, i'am trying to install kdevelop in order to make some simple programs.
I'm not sure this is due to kdevelop but i prefer to explain the all process.

When doing urmpi kdevelop-3.1.2-4.mdk10.1.thac.i586.rpm for example, it ask me to choose beetween libX11 ou libXfree86
for the man pages. ( To be installed was written within brackets. )

When looking at the packages available on my system, i saw both of them ready to be installed.
They can be found easily in rpm format. ( libxfree86-devel-4.3-32.3.100mdk.i586.rpm ou libxorg-x11-devel-6.8.2-1.mdk10.1.thac.i586.rpm )

And the problem is here.

Doing urpmi or rpmdrake with libxorg is doing nothing at all. urpmi process seems to be hanging.
I've done the necessary to cut the processes by searching them with ps -ef | grep urmpi and kill, i've removed the RPMLOCK
and redo the process describe above.
Nothing at all.

Any idea ? I'm probably doing something wrong but my knowledge is insuffisant to understand the problem.

if you still have your install cd's you could manually install the package off of it. the Xorg is the one you want, not sure what problems you would encounter with the Xfree one, but you probably don't want to find out ( for the most part it will work, but some things Xorg has improved/added will not work at all).
