LibreOffice theme

I know there have been several posts around several areas regarding gtk themes in OO/LO, but they all seem to concentrate on high contrast settings. So does anyone know a fixe for this?

Note that in LO the themes doesn't respect the window or button text colours, which is a real pain, they are practically unreadable.

Yeah, using openoffice with dark gtk themes is a real problem. I have a startup script that forces it to ignore the theme:

Code:
#!/bin/sh

OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP="none" GTK2_RC_FILES="" soffice "$1"

exit 0
I have tried other solutions like messing with the text colors, but none of them work.

If OO/LO had some type of internal theme management system like firefox, things would work.

yeah, I've tried the setting of GTK2_RC_FILES, and even customised my existing theme to use spcifically work with LO, but it just causes other problems, and besides, I spent a lot of time setting up my system to please me aesthetically. I don't want LO messing it up.

The LO team claim themeing problems were fixed with 3.4.4, but clearly not (3.4.5 here) - so guess I'll go post a bug report back at them.
