Hello, I am running Linux Mint 19.1 Kernel 4.15.0-46-generic. I was using the Update Manager and an update for Libre Office?? failed. It gave me a message that I had broken packages and needed to fix those. I went into Synaptic Package Manager and somehow, was able to fix/clear those broken packages. But now when I attempt to install Libre Office Suite it fails. If there are logs that you need to look at to assist me with my issue, please let me know which ones and where they are located.
Thanks,
Scott
You might start with /var/log/dpkg.log and /var/log/faillog. Those at least are log files on Ubuntu MATE, so I'm guessing they are likely present in Mint.
You could also try installing it from the command line with apt, aptitude, or apt-get and note what error message appear in the terminal and post them to the forum, being sure to surround any terminal output with "code" tags, which become available when you click the "Go Advanced" button beneath the "compose post" window..

Scott, that second output doesn't correspond with the second command I requested you run.
The first one, from inxi -r, checks out ok.
One question however - why are you using the http://ppa.launchpad.net/jonathonf/python-3.6 PPA? Generally, you should be wary about mucking around with Python versions on Mint - it's best to stick to the default versions or use a VM of another distro if wanting to use a different Python version.
Well that was the output as of last night. I just reran it and this is what came out this time. I had the synaptic manager open at the time the first time I ran it. Also I was able to "fix" broken packages since the first run, but did not attempt to reinstall libre suite. Here is the out put as of today. Thanks for your patience and assistance.
Code:

I also ran the "apt --fix-broken install" and it just gave me instructions on how to use apt, a man page I am guessing.
Code:
scott@scott-NV57H:~$ apt autoremove
