libpcre invalid ELF header error.

I have been running Fedora Core 1 as my main OS for a few months, and after installing a tuner card which locked up and caused me to ctl alt del and upon reboot have libpcre.so.0 errors. The error is "invalid ELF headers" I have searched for a repair program but have not found one. I ran fsck, and that does not correct the libpcre errors. Is there some way to stop these error messages upon booting. Are there symbolic links that can be re-linked somehow?

I have similar issues after 18 years. I used to reinstall but this time I am interested to fix it. I am trying to correct shared libs one by one manually.

Please do not reopen posts which are necrotic and have been dead for 18 years.

If you have something with which you need assistance start your own thread and we will be happy to help. NOTHING about fedora 35 (or any other modern distro) is the same as it was with fedora 1 and your post is useless except for opening a long dead thread.
