libGL.so file missing?

I installed Quake 3 Arena for Linux and tried to run it and got this error:
Quote:
...loading libGL.so: QGL_Init: Can't load libGL.so from /etc/ld.so.conf or current dir: /home/Xandor/libGL.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I have no clue why this file is missing. OpenGL screensavers work fine. I can't find any information on google.... Any ideas?

Install the x11 -devel package. On Mandriva this is libxorg-x11-devel. Also make sure you've got the Nvidia drivers installed and working.
