ok i have openldap installed on my server i well did about a month ago and had this problem and gave in and its just now when i decided to try again

i am trying to add a user using the Directory administrator in SLES 9. there are curently no users and groups. i will be using ldap for auth on both windows users through samba and linux machines anyway when i try adding a user it tells me i cant create a user untill i have created a group. fairanough i will create a group so i tryed. when i go through the directory adminstrator wizerd for adding a group i fill in all the required fields and when i click on finish i get an object class violation! i think this is because i havent added any users to the group but i havent got any users to add to it!

does anybody have any advice on what i should be doing or where i am going wrong
