LaTex text/graphic overlay

I am writing a report that requires a special first page (with names, experiment name, etc). it is avaliable as pdf. does anyone know how to make that page cover the whole front page, and then add text on top of that "graphic"?

I think I know what you mean - you have a cover page that everyone has to use right?

If you convert the pdf file to post-script (or jpeg or whatever) you can use it as a normal picture. In the graphics box you can write text in specific (x,y) locations so the information will appear in the correct places.

Alternatively, if you examine the text of the cover sheet carefully, you may find that it is TeX already. In which case, careful measurements will allow you to mock up an indistinguishable tex cover sheet
