Latest Suse 9.2 updates has killed mozilla apps

I am havibng the strangest troubles with Suse 9.2 when logged in KDE after the latest pdates. If any mozilla app (Fire fox, Thunderbird, or Sunbird) has a maximized window it will not run. If I log into gnome and minimize the windows to 3/4 of the desktop log into kde again they work. However if I try to drag the windows larger or click on the maximize tab the app crashes. Has any one else found this issue. I have even reinstalled Suse installed the mozilla applications, they worked fine, then ran yast installed the security patches same problem.
